Canda qualified from Cardiff University in 1990. Canda has worked in Manor House Dental & Implant Clinic for more than 23 years, carrying out high quality private general dentistry. Canda joined the practice in 1997.
Canda has a very loyal following of patients who appreciate her dentistry skills and upbeat attitude to life in general.

Clare qualified from Cardiff University in 1990 and joined the practice in 2006. Whilst happy carrying out all aspects of general dentistry, she has a passion for facial aesthetics, cosmetic and implant dentistry. She has a caring, but perfectionist approach to her patients and work.
Clare is married with three children and has thrown herself in to life in Cornwall. Amateur dramatics, surfing and an ambition to cycle across America fill her time outside of dentistry.

Bridget joined the practice in 1998, having just completed an MA in Complementary Health Studies. She came to do a 3 month maternity cover for Canada and is still here! Bridget provides general dentistry, but is a firm believer in referring within the practice if a colleague has enhanced skills in a particular area. Bridget has an interest in the overlap between oral health and general health. This includes management of gum disease, provision of snoring prevention appliances (MAS) and an interest in the individual needs we have at different stages in our lives to remain healthy rather than treating disease. She is a member of the British Society of Periodontology.

Nathalie graduated from Cardiff University in 2007 when she was awarded First Prize for her undergraduate project for the prestigious Premiere Awards in London. Since then she has continued to excel in her Post-Graduate training by balancing General Dentistry with completing courses in Implant dentistry, Facial Aesthetics, and becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons after passing the vigorous training for the MJDF qualification.
Nathalie also spent a year at The Royal Cornwall Hospital where she gained valuable skills whilst working with the Oral Surgery team, which enhanced caring approach with patients. Her work keeps her very busy, but in her spare time you will probably find her playing tennis or making the most of the beautiful Cornish surroundings at the local beaches.

Richard qualified from Cardiff University in 1985. He then spent five years serving as a Royal Navy Dental Officer, before entering General Practice.
He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has developed a particular interest in the restoration of worn teeth. Richard is noted for his calm, compassionate demeanour much appreciated by nervous patients. Richard is married and the proud father of teenage triplets – all girls. In his spare moments he enjoys gardening and caring for his bees.

Alison qualified from Manchester University in 1999. She completed further hospital training, and gained further postgraduate qualification to become a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of England in 2002.
Alison has enjoyed working in private practice for nearly 20 years, and provides all aspects of general dental practice. She particularly enjoys Minimally Interventive dentistry, which helps to conserve as much of your own teeth as possible, and providing holistic care. She also has experience in adult orthodontics and aesthetics.
She endeavours to ensure all her patients are treated in a caring and gentle manner, helping patients to be comfortable and informed throughout.
Away from the practice Alison embraces the Cornish lifestyle, where she is most often found on the beach with her husband, daughter and dog. She also enjoys gig rowing and paddle boarding.

Kate graduated from Glasgow Dental School with Honours in 2000. After 7 years 'cutting her teeth' in Portsmouth she returned to her home town in Dunfermline as a private dentist. She considers cosmetic dentistry, including free-hand composite bonding and veneers to be her favourite aspect of dental treatment but it is the face to face interaction with patients that she finds the most satisfying part of the job. Taking an anxious patient and transforming their smile can transform their life. And getting someone out of pain is rewarding for patient and dentist!
Kate moved from Scotland to Cornwall with her family in 2016 and has been a part of the Manor House team since. She is still discovering new beaches to explore with her two children and dog.

Nick Coley qualified at Kings College Hospital Dental School in 1982. Always keen to improve his knowledge base he has attended numerous courses throughout his career both in the UK and abroad.
Nick has attended a number of year-long certificate courses at the Eastman Dental Institute, University College London studying Restorative Dentistry, Periodontology, Material Science, Implantology and Advanced Implantology.
He has recently passed the Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, which is recognised as a leading implant qualification worldwide and has attended the Malo Clinic in Lisbon where Nick studied the All on 4 technique with professor Paulo Malo who originally developed it.
Nick is a member of the Association of Dental Implantology and the International Team for Implantology both of which are rich sources of up to date knowledge in the field of Implantology.

Quite often, sensitive teeth resolve completely after a course of hygiene treatment and patients often comment that their mouths have never felt so clean since coming to the Manor House.

Aimey qualified in 2008 from Cardiff university with a diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy. She joined the Manor House in 2009, left to experience the bright lights of London in 2011 and then returned home 3 years later with her husband Ben.
She takes great pride in the work she carries out on a daily basis and especially enjoys helping anxious patients to overcome their fears.Out of work, Aimey enjoys spending time with her family and friends and her Border Terrier puppy!

After working as a dental nurse for 6 years Alison decided to further her studies and qualified as a dental hygienist at Cardiff university. Returning to Cornwall she joined the Manor House team in 2010.
She enjoys helping nervous patients and outside of work loves spending time with her husband and young son making the most of the beautiful Cornish coast and countryside and visiting her Australia whenever possible!

Jovita Rumsiene qualified with a degree in Dental Hygiene from Kaunas College in Lithuania 2005.
She is registered with the General Dental Council (GDC) and a member British Society of Dental Hygiene and Therapy. Jovita is passionate about oral health and is constantly seeking to renew her learning in dental hygiene and prevention.

Vanessa Owers started off her dentistry career as a qualified dental nurse who went to further her career at Cardiff University where she became a Dental Hygienist in 2015.
Since joining the dental industry Vanessa has worked at numerous Private and NHS clinics in Cornwall and is very passionate about treating patients with periodontal conditions.
Vanessa believes that developing a treatment plan around patients needs and building their confidence and overcoming their dental phobia is key. She also makes sure that patients are aware that periodontal disease is an ongoing problem but can be stabilized and managed effectively, this will have a positive effect on the patients health and well-being.
Outside the dental surgery Vanessa is a keen runner and enjoys the coast of Cornwall in her Boat with her two English bulldogs.

Laura started dental nursing in 2011 and then went on to train as a Dental Therapist, qualifying with honours and distinction from Birmingham University in 2017.
Since qualifying she has worked in both general practice and the community dental service, gaining valuable experience treating anxious patients and those with special needs.
She is passionate about oral health education and holistic care. Her focus is on ensuring patients have the knowledge and motivation to maintain a healthy mouth.
In her spare time she enjoys surfing, camping, paddle boarding and exploring Cornwall.
Sarah has been with the practice for over 4 years. In her spare time she enjoys exercising and walking her dog.
Jeanette has been with the practice over 21 years, and is one of our radiographers. In her spare time she looks after her granddaughter and enjoys going the watch her son perform in dance performances.
Jessica has been with the practice over 4 years. She enjoys walking, exercises classes and raising money for charity by entering running races.
Elizabeth has been with the practice over 12 years.
Machaela has been with the practice over 16 years, she one of our radiographers. She enjoys spending time with her husband and little girl.
Jan has been with the practice over 3 years. She enjoys reading, baking and walks with her family.
Stephanie has been with the practice over 3 years. She enjoys spending time with her family visiting different National Trust properties and being a creative.

Nicola has been working at the Manor House for over 30 years and has overseen some dramatic and exciting changes to the practice.
As well as dealing with the day to day smooth running of the practice, Nicola aims to ensure that every patient is entirely happy with their experience at the Manor House. If you have any queries or have been disappointed with any aspect of your treatments, then let her know promptly and she will try her utmost to put things right.
In her spare time, Nicola enjoys running and baking.

Carolyn has been with the practice over 10 years. She enjoys coastal walks, and singing in the local choir.
Greta has been with the practice over 20 years. In her spare time she loves reading and walking the family dog.
Gail has been with the practice over 17 years. In her spare time she enjoys walking and spending time with her family.
Debbie has been with the practice over 11 years. She enjoys looking after her rescue ponies, goats and varies birds, plus making delicious cakes.
Jo has been with the practice over 3 years. In her spare time she enjoys walking her 2 dogs.
Sarah has been with the practice for over 2 years. She spends her spare time looking after her husband and 2 children.
Jodie has been with the practice over 2 years. In her spare time she is busy looking after her 3 children and helping out at the local Brownies.
